Born in Malappuram, Anju Punnath is one of the leading ladies in the field of painting. Though her tenure in art is quite short (considering how young she is ), she has already announced herself as an impeccable talent. Anju is currently Working at Overseas Keralites Investment & Holding Ltd. Also manages to do part-time illustrations for stories and poems. online sales of her paintings are another thing that keeps her clock ticking.

She has an affection for mediums such as acrylic, watercolour, and mixed media. At times, she merely uses pens to portray her thoughts. When it comes to characteristics and subjects, she is fond of ‘women’, ‘fish’, ‘sea’, ‘insects’, ‘scribbles’. Anju loves to communicate about the freedom of women, freedom of humanity as a whole, relationships, random thoughts about society, philosophy of love, life, and everything that sprouts in her mind. She doesn’t follow a particular method nor she doesn’t follow any artistic rules while working with colours. It is too spontaneous and she directly reflects her scribbles and colours. If someone asks about her favourite colours, her answer would be blue, cyan, and black.
