Shargeeth is a young art-entrepreneur based on Calicut, Kerala, India, founder of Shargeeth’s Gallery. His vision is “to touch more lives through art; Art for wellbeing.” Artist from his teens onwards poised in portraits and acrylic medium depicts in all its brevity the philosophical language of life and human psyche. His “Journey through life” an exhibition happened in lalithakala art gallery in Calicut attracted a lot of eyes.
He is an upcoming artist who is inspired by the philosophical pattern of life, there was a time when he was chaotic…later he found balance and peace through reflecting and disciplining his life. He views life as a journey, this is so visible in all his works. Turning his house into a gallery, he is aspiring to buildan ecosystem for artists and art students. Shargeeth’s gallery undertakes all types of works
from caricature, film art works, advertisements, murals and giving classes on art, currently collaborating with Taj hotels in Calicut, Kochi and ootty, he does portraits and sells his works from these outlets.
He is very fluent in painting murals. Shargeeth is known for drawing
portraits and personally giving them to celebrities like Ronaldinhio (Brazilian football player), Abhishek Bachan and Dinnu Morea (Bollywood acters), Mohanlal (Actor), Amjad Ali Khan (Savod player) and the iconic singer Sonu Nigam. He has organized a tribute for musician A.R Rahman by painting his portraits collectively with young artists, Rahman himself tweeted his acknowledgement to this event. He has worked in many movies in art section. He is currently experimenting with art monetization. His works condense life, its pursuit, the burden of karma,
release from this life. The color combinations are appealing… red, orange, and shades of blue are the dominant ones. He is attempting to come forward with an idea to unite young artists all around kerala to collaborate and make serious art while monetizing it… building such ecosystems peddles artists to pursue their projects and make dough out of it. He is one of the young artists who thrives by his own innate talents always answering his calls of life !
