ആൾ ഇന്ത്യാ റേഡിയോയിലും ദൂരദർശനിലും ബി ഗ്രേഡ് ആർട്ടിസ്റ്റായ ജയപ്രകാശ് കണ്ണൂർ, അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന പ്രൊഫഷണൽ ഫ്ലൂട്ടിസ്റ്റ് ആണ്. പുല്ലാങ്കുഴല്‍ മേഖലയില്‍ തന്റെ ഇടം കൃത്യമായി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ ജയപ്രകാശ്, നാല്പത് വർഷമായി കേരളത്തിന്റെ കലാ സാംസ്കാരിക രംഗത്ത് നിറസാന്നിധ്യമാണ്.
പOനവും വ്യക്തിജീവിതവും
1952 ഡിസംബർ 16ന് കരുണാകരൻ – ശ്രീദേവി ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകനായി ജനിച്ചു. തലശ്ശേരി ബ്രണ്ണൻ കോളേജിൽ നിന്നും പഠനം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. പിതാവ് കരുണാകരനിൽ നിന്നും കൂടാതെ ഗുരു സി. ആർ. ഭാഗവതരിൽ നിന്നും സംഗീതത്തിൽ വൈദഗ്ധ്യം നേടി. ഗുരുവായൂർ ചെമ്പൈ സംഗീതോത്സവത്തിൽ തന്റെ സ്ഥാനമറിയിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം അമേരിക്ക, റഷ്യ എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങൾ സന്ദർശിച്ചിട്ടുമുണ്ട്.

Jayaprakash Kannur is a famous professional flutist. He is a B Grade artist in All India Radio and Dooradarsan. Jayaprakash Kannur, marked his own identity in the art and cultural spaces of Kerala for last fourty years, and is actively contributing his part.
Education and Personal Life
Born on 16th December 1956 as the son of Karunakaran ans Sridevi. He completed his studies from Brannen College, Thalassery. An addition to the teachings of his father he learned music from C. R. Bhagavathar.
He took part in Chembai Sangeetholsav. He also visited foreign countries like America and Russia as a part of his musical career.
