Thiruvangoor, KozhikodeKumari Devananda, an upcoming talent bud from Thiruvangur is the daughter of Sri Sunil Thiruvangur and Srimati Usha. She is a born singer and dancer. Her efficiency in singing was brought up by her father,who currently works as a music teacher in Pavandoor Higher Secondary School. Devananda is a grade 8 student of Thiruvangur Higher Secondary School. She pursues her music and dance training from Pookad kalalayam. She acquired the primary lessons of music under the guidance of Sri. Achuthan Chemanchery and Srimati.Jayaprabha. Her performances in district and state level competitions are noteworthy. At present she is engaged in her higher studies in music under the training of Kumari Bhavana, a famous music mentor.
